How to Play

Play Summer Camp Island Scavenger Card Hunt online for free. Scavenger Card Hunt is a trading card game where your goal is to win 12 stars from each camper. The campers will only give you their stars if you outbid your opponents based on the value of your item cards. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Select the play button to load the welcome screen.
On the welcome screen, select Play below the game’s title to begin.

        Be the first to get 12 stars.
        Claim the cards by outbidding your opponents.
        Use each player’s benefits to bolster your lead or hinder your opponents.
        Stars
        Trade item cards with campers to gain stars.
        The number of stars each camper is worth is indicated on top of their card.
        Outbid the other teams to gain the camper’s benefits.
        If another camper outbids you, you don’t get the card.
        Each camper is worth a specific number of stars. Once you’ve won the bid, you get the stars in their card.
        The number of stars you and your opponents have are shown on the top row of the screen.
        Trading
        Trading item cards is how you win bidding wars.
        Select a camper card to bid for.
        Select any item card to bid with.
        Select the next button on the bottom right corner of the screen to proceed with your turn.
        Each item has a specific value, indicated on the top right corner of the card.
        You can trade multiple items for a card you want in an attempt to outbid your opponent.
        You don’t get your item cards back if you get outbid by an opponent.
        Be careful, though, as you can quickly run out of items to trade if you bet it all at once.
        You gain more item cards after each turn.
        You can skip a turn by selecting
        Each item card can only be traded to a camper of its color.
        Strategy
        Skipping is a viable strategy to accumulate more cards.
        This works well if you don’t have a lot of high-value cards or spent several cards gaining a lead.
        Amass as many cards as you need.
        Take note of each camper’s effects before you bid for them.
        Often, it’s better to take a camper to deny your opponents a bonus than it is to seize one who yields the most stars.
        Sometimes, the camper that you get will benefit your opponent (e.g. the player with the lowest number of points gets the score). If they have a higher value than what your opponent gains, bid for them.
        At times, a high-value camper’s effects will actually sabotage you if you bid for them (e.g. the player with the most stars loses a star).
        Take the card anyway if its value is high, especially if you’re leading your opponents.
        Let it go if your opponent will exceed your score if they seize it.
        Campers activate their effects after you gain the stars from them.
        In some cases, it will nullify the favors they offer. What use is “get 1 star from the player with the same number of stars as you” if no other player has the same number of stars.
        A few cards are useless in the early game (e.g. Players with 8 or more stars lose 1 star) and only have value based on the stars they yield.
        You need all the cards you can to bid. Don’t overbid for a simple card in the early game.
